When planning your e-learning project you need to consider at least three dimensions:
- The platform and the technology
- The process and the learner’s success
Content takes many forms such as text, images, voices and videos. It is central to the learning experience you provide to your audience.
Choose the LMS platform most suited to your needs
On the other hand, the content, while all powerful, does not generate the learning experience in itself. The content must be “rendered” on a technological platform, a learning management system. More commonly known as LMS or Learning Management System, this type of technological platform, which allows user-learners to consume content, conditions the learning possibilities and what can be achieved within the framework of your project.
It is therefore essential to choose the platform that exactly suits your needs and those of your learners.
Focus on the learning process
However, do not think that only the platform does the job of delivering the right content, in the right order, in an engaging way to your learners. No! You need to design a learning experience, a learning process, that is right for your audience.
In summary, there are three main parameters to take into account when planning your e-learning project: the content, the LMS and the learning process.
This may seem complex, but after a few projects you will develop the skill required to achieve your goals.
